SERVE

Join a 2|42 Ministry

At Church 2|42, we are passionate about mobilizing disciples of Jesus Christ, and one of the most powerful ways to reflect God’s love is by serving others and helping build His Kingdom.
There are countless ways to get involved and make a difference. Whether it’s welcoming first-time guests, serving in our children’s ministry, setting up or tearing down the stage, capturing moments through photo and video, or leading others in worship, there’s a place for everyone to serve.
If you're ready to connect with the 2|42 family, build life-giving relationships, and have fun while serving, fill out one of the forms below with the team that’s right for you.

How can I serve on a Sunday Morning?

When serving with our kids, you can either serve as a volunteer in the classrooms or as a check-in volunteer. Team Members serve by providing a safe, fun, and interactive discipleship environment for children 6 weeks through 5th grade or by greeting and checking in all children into their 2|42 classrooms. If you have any questions regarding serving with 2|42 Kids, please fill out the form by selecting the button below.
If you love making people feel welcome, the Connect 2|42 Team is the perfect place to serve. Whether you’re offering a warm smile greeting at the door, helping first-time guests get connected at the Connect Table, assisting with seating during service as an usher, or serving coffee at Acts Cafe, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors. If you have any questions regarding serving with our Connect 2|42 Team, please contact Lee Blackmon.
As a part of the creative  team, you can help behind the scenes with our social media, graphics, social media, photography, and more. If you have the spiritual gift of creativity, this is for you! If you're interested in serving the church creatively, please email Katie Whitock.
As a part of our tech team, you can help to make worship possible by either creating and working slides, working the sound board, working lights or moderating our livestream during service.
As a part of the worship team, you can sing on stage, or play an instrument! If you're interested in being apart of our tech or worship team, you can audition! If you have any questions about auditioning or the worship team, please contact Sam Zeron.
As a church plant, every Sunday starts with building the space where life change happens—and you can be a part of that. The Set-Up & Tear-Down Team helps create a welcoming environment by unloading equipment, setting up signs, assembling the stage, and preparing the auditorium before service. After worship, the team works together to carefully pack everything back up. It’s hands-on, behind-the-scenes work that makes a big impact—and it’s a great way to serve with purpose and connect with others. If you have any questions regarding serving with Set Up and Tear Down, please contact Tyler Thames.
